Many of us bring a reusable bottle to the courts and recycle our post-match beer can, but there's something else you can do to lessen your impact as a tennis player.

Donate your old balls!


Our friends over at RecycleBalls collect used tennis balls to recycle into a GREEN GOLD material used to make tennis courts. Other balls are sold and reused into dog play balls for man's best friend. Since 2017, the non-profit company has already collected over three and a half million tennis balls, but COVID has dramatically affected the amount of balls they are receiving.


There are two ways you can help the Burlington, VT based company:

  1. Collect 100+ balls, box them up and ship them for free with a profitable tax deduction. It’s as easy as throwing a box in your trunk and becoming “the ball collector” after your round robin or local tournament.

  2. Encourage and assist your tennis facility with getting bins at zero cost and just a little time. The RecycleBalls QUICKSHIP Program give tennis facilities everything to provide a comprehensive "turn-key" tennis ball recycling solution.
