Dear Subscriber First Name,

The USTA Tournament Changes for 2021 continue to be a hot topic so the next post up on the NSMTA Forum is the nationwide structure and ranking system of all tournaments.

The individual 17 sectional structures and one national ranking system will be replaced by ONE nationwide structure and ranking system for Adult Tournaments. The structure will consist of levels 1-7 with Level 1 replacing CAT1's and Level 7 being the lowest ranking local tournament. In all ranked tournaments, one set of nationwide ranking tables will determine points earned.

The USTA has released the 2021 Tournament Schedule. All National Tournaments (Levels 1-3) through December 2021 and all other tournaments through April 2021, as has been announced by USTA, have been entered into the NSMTA Tournament List. The remaining 2021 schedule will be live by 12/10/20. Due to the uncertainty of Covid-19, there have been a handful of tournaments in December and January that have been rescheduled or cancelled which are noted on our tournament list for your convenience.

Back by popular demand! The members-only, Member Directory is up and running on nsmta.net! Since tournaments are few and far between, now is a great time to find some hitting buddies, locate a nearby doubles partner or get a local round robin started. Or if you just want to touch base with an NSMTA Member, you can send them an email.
