2022 USTA National Men's 50 & 55 HardCourt Championships

Two double GOLD BALL winners …

What a great week of tennis. Before I share the results, let me comment on the event. Overall, it was a great event. The people, players, facility, tournament organization were all done very well. Joe Perdue opened his house up to us and hosted a great player party. We had some inclement weather at the start of the tournament and the TD handled it well. Great communications.

So let’s get to the results. As I said, we had TWO DOUBLE GOLD BALL WINNERs. Dana Gill won both the 50’s singles and doubles. While Oren Motevassel won both the 55 singles and doubles. This was Oren’s 34th singles Level 1 Championship. He is 9th on the overall list of and with a couple of more wins will move into the 7th position. Rosters of All time level 1 winners can be found here. I am not sure how many doubles champioships he’s won but I will look into it. Same goes for Dana.
